This is the second time I had to try this, since deviantart went into read-only mode last night while I was uploading. grrr!
Just something that came to mind after reading the Naruto fanfic "Paths" by Caitiy.

Naruto laughed happily. “Yeah, just like the woodsman came in at the last minute and saved Little Red Riding Hood from the wolf, we swooped in and rescued you from that pervert!”

Something about his words struck her as wrong and she furrowed her brow trying to remember. Her eyes drifted to her former sensei and something seemed spark in her memory just a little – enough for her to start to see the elite jonin in a slightly different light. “Actually…" she said, "I think that, sometimes, it’s the wolf that saves the little girl from the woodsman.”

That last quote immediately brought this image into mind. So here we have a wolf-Kakashi, standing protectively over a LRH-Sakura (who is supposed to be academy age Sakura, even though she doesn't look it ), with the woodsman off to the side.
I tried having the woodsman shown full body, with Kaka/Saku is different positions, but didn't really like how that turned out, so I redid it. I like it much better this way. And I realize that I probably overdid it with the flowers, but...
Done in Photoshop CS2, where I'm still trying to figure out a definite style to use and experimenting with the different brushes.

And if you're a KakaSaku fan in any way (and even if you're not), I suggest that you read her fics, if you haven't already. They are very good. Especially "Simple Things", which is one of the best Naruto fics I've read (and I've read a lot).
