...when you're half-asleep and are convinced that the cat and dog are demanding that you do a complex web page about their respective species, when they really just want you to open the door and let them out.

I'm serious, this is exactly what happened this morning. I let Maggie (dog) and Misha (cat) sleep in my room last night, and so when Maggie wanted out around 4:00, it took me a while to actually wake up enough to realize that, no, she did not want a web page about black labs, she wanted the door open so she could leave to do whatever. 15, maybe 30 minutes after that, Misha starts going 'MROW! MROW!' to my face, pacing around me, and putting every ounce of her weight onto one paw placed directly on a bone for maximum discomfort (anybody with cats should know what that's like). It took me longer to realize what she really wanted. And she wanted even more than Maggie did, being even more demanding, some of the stuff I'm not even sure is possible on the web.

It wasn't until I thought that I heard my step dad outside my window saying that someone needs to open it or something and I actually did, that I realised it was time to stop trying to go back to sleep and wake up fully.

I have weird dreams, I know. Doesn't matter if I'm 100% knocked out or 50%, they are still weird. In fact, I think they're weirder if I'm half-asleep than when I'm not, particularly since I'm partly awake and can remember it better.
